The ET170-025 insert converts turbulent water flow to laminar water flow. It is designed to eliminate water splashing from the ET115-001 air gap at low and high water flow rates. The ET170-025 eliminates water splashes from the air gap by aligning water streams through multiple hexagonal openings to create laminar flow.
The insert is 3/4 inch long and slips into the ET115-001 air gap intake port. It has 19 honeycomb openings to direct incoming water into a single laminar flow stream. The inlet measures 5/8 inch, and the outlet measures 1/2 inch in diameter.
The ET170-025 slips into the ET115-001 air gap’s 1/2-inch threaded inlet and is secured by threaded quick connect, straight or right-angle adapters. Threaded adapters, from ET170-001 to ET170-008, and ET170-017, can be installed in the air gap, while the ET170-025 inserts are inside the air gap.
