The ET170-024 insert converts turbulent water flow to laminar water flow. It is designed to eliminate water splashing from the ET120-001 air gap at low and high water flow rates. The ET170-024 eliminates water splashes from the air gap by aligning water streams through multiple hexagonal openings to create laminar flow.
The insert is 1 inch long and slips into the ET120-001 air gap intake port. It has 38 honeycomb openings to direct incoming water into a single laminar flow stream. The inlet measures 1-1/16 inches, and the outlet measures 1 inch in diameter.
The ET170-024 slips into the ET120-001 air gap’s 1-inch threaded inlet and is secured by threaded straight or right-angle adapters. Threaded adapters, ET170-015 and ET170-016, can be installed in the air gap, while the ET170-024 inserts are inside the air gap.
