The AG170-050 is a black polypropylene reducing ribbed hose adapter used to transition 3/8-inch ID tubing to 7/8-inch ID hose in drain applications, such as ice maker drain lines, condensate pump discharge lines, water softener and similar field installations where a larger drain hose connection is required.
The adapter features ribbed hose connections on both ends to provide a secure coupling while allowing easier hose removal during maintenance. The ribbed configuration also helps maximize the internal diameter on the 3/8-inch side for improved flow performance.
The AG170-050 has been tested for flow rates up to 8 gallons per minute (GPM) and can sustain acidic condensate discharge. It is chemically inert and will perform at -4 to 212°F (-20 to 100°C). It is designed for permanent installations.
