AG110-001 Reverse Osmosis Filter Air Gap (Inlet and Outlet fits 3/8-in OD poly tubing and 5/8-in ID poly tubing)
❤ FLOW RATE: The GAP-A-RO air gap’s maximum flow rate is 1 gallon per minute (GPM). The maximum flow rate through an air gap is the flow rate at which water does not splash outside an air gap. The air gap is dry on the outside at the maximum flow rate.
❤ EASY TO CONNECT: The AG110-001 air gap’s inlet and outlet ports accommodate 3/8-inch OD poly tubing and 5/8-inch ID poly tubing. The inlet connects to 3/8-inch OD poly tubing from the reverse osmosis unit, while the outlet connects to 3/8-inch OD poly tubing, which directly feeds to a standpipe. Both inlet and outlet support a 5/8-inch ID poly tubing as the air gap’s design enables the larger tube to be used either for the inlet or outlet, to be part of a double-sealed system, or to protect the inside tubing.
❤ STANDPIPE CONNECTION: The AG110-001 air gap’s outlet connects to a 3/8-inch OD poly tubing which feeds directly to a standpipe without kinks or bends. Accessories such as a mounting bracket, clamps, and screws are provided with the air gap to secure its connection to the standpipe.
❤ CERTIFICATION: The AG110-001 is listed by UPC® and in compliance with IPC® and NSF® standards. Also, all the products are tested for strength to ensure that every glue joint will withstand at least 40lb of force and not break. The testing is conducted for every manufactured lot to ensure consistent performance.
❤ COMPATIBILITY: Our reverse osmosis air gaps such as the AG110-001 are not compatible with reverse osmosis faucets with air gap.
The AG110-001 reverse osmosis (RO) filter air gap prevents backflow from the standpipe into the RO system. This unit is a gravity flow device and, as such, must have an outlet tubing feed directly to a drain without kinks and bends.
The GAP-A-RO air gap’s maximum flow rate is 1 gallon per minute (GPM). The maximum flow rate through an air gap is the flow rate at which water does not splash outside an air gap. The air gap is dry on the outside at the maximum flow rate.
The AG110-001 air gap must be installed per the manufacturer’s instructions, and the outlet side feeding directly into a standpipe. This configuration lets the discharge water stream flow freely through the outlet tubing. The inlet and outlet ports fit 3/8-inch OD poly tubing and 5/8-inch ID poly tubing. For the 5/8-inch ID tubing, the AG110-001’s design enables it to be used for an inlet or outlet, be part of a double-sealed system, or provide added mechanical protection to the inside tubing. The 5/8-inch ID poly tubing fits up to the last marking on the inlet and outlet sides of the AG110-001.
The AG110-001 air gap provides the following advantages: Super strong material to provide a secure connection, tested and listed for compliance with applicable plumbing codes, is easy to install, easy to use, and easy to maintain.
